Public Journal of Semiotics

Public Journal of Semiotics (PJOS) is a non-profit open access journal that publishes original research articles in semiotics: the systematic study of meaning, in any kind of modality such as speech, written text, gesture and pictures. We especially welcome articles combining theory and empirical findings in areas such as human evolution, development, multimodality and political discourse in text and image. Our intention is to help make semiotics relevant for current issues in the world. Let's help make semiotics public!
